 | We have decided to call this section All for Mothers as it offers everyone a range of ways to get involved and support the mothers who are making sure that no child is left alone in their communities. In the words of Nelson Mandela, ‘There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children.’ It is incumbent on all of us to make sure that the next generation of our children, wherever their colour, creed or culture, is nurtured as they are our future. The main ways in which people can help are listed below. If you have any suggestions to make in this regard, we would be delighted to hear from you. |

One of ways you can join the All for Mothers movement is by buying our products to give away as presents or to sell at cost to friends and acquaintances. Mixed packs of the paper bead bookmarks, necklaces, bracelets and earrings will be available for purchase before November 2008. We are hoping to send a DVD with each product pack so that you can see the mothers in action in their own villages and communities. Fifty percent of the cost of each package will go directly to the mothers; the remainder will go to training and equipping new mothers. For more information please contact us. |

All for Mothers is now offering another exciting way to support our Mothers for All. With a donation of US $250 or UK £130 a new group of mothers can be trained and equipped so that they can start earning a living wage. You can choose the name for your group and, in time, we will plot the distribution of these groups on a map as well as their supporters. It will soon be possible to donate through the website. If you would like to donate money immediately please contact us. Mothers for All is a registered charitable trust in Botswana and the accounts are therefore regularly audited. |
|
Currently everyone involved with Mothers for All is donating their time and resources freely. But as the projects expand to more towns and villages, and in order to operate a nationwide network of groups, a full-time administrator will need to be employed and administrative expenses covered. Mothers for All will raise such money separately, so that the money obtained through the sale of the goods and the sponsorship of new groups will go exclusively towards the mothers themselves and the training of new mothers. |
